This coming race season at South Coast Raceway we will continue running our burnout comp series during the Friday Night Drag events.
Burnout entries need to be entered and scrutinised at the track by 7:30pm.
Also any crew need to be signed in and have arm bands on before being allowed onto the start line.
Trophies, prize money and championship Points will be awarded to the highest point scorer for each of the rounds and an overall burnout champion and runner up award will be given at the annual club presentation night.Points will be given for all placings and the winner with the highest score getting $100 prize for the night.
The end of season burnout champion will be the person with the highest combined tally total point score for each of the six rounds.
There will be 3 judges for each comp, judging criteria such as:

Note: There will be no score reduction for using reverse
Burnouts will start immediately after racing ceases (around 8:00pm), there will be a driver brief that outlines the rules beforehand, all drivers must attend this brief and all burnout cars require scrutineering.
$150 for 1st
$100 for 2nd
$50 for 3rd
plus trophy for winner and medal for 2nd
All competitors are required to fill out a standard entry form at the gate. The Bracket is to be designated as B/O. All competitors must be scrutineered prior to scrutineering closure.
Competitors will be given as long as possible to complete their burnout but a 2 minute limit per competitor my be enforced if entry numbers are high
Vehicles must be scrutineered during the scheduled scrutineering time for the event and pass the associated SCDRA rules for their class of car.
